Sepideh Afsari received her B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from Sharif University of Technology (Tehran/Iran) in 2005. After obtaining her M.Sc. degree in Analytical Chemistry from Isfahan University of Technology, she was admitted to Temple University and joined the Borguet group as a graduate assistant working toward her Ph.D. degree. She is interested in investigating adsorption/desorption and formation of self-assembly and long range ordered structures of molecules on the surfaces and reactions at electrolyte/solid interfaces and Single Molecule Conductivity (SMC) utilizing scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and electrochemical STM break junction.  She completed her doctoral studies in 2015.

Research Interests
STM, Electrochemical Reactions, Charge Transport Mechanisms, Single Molecule Conductivity, Nanoscale and Two Dimensional Materials
