Matthaeus Wolak received his Master’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of Duisburg-Essen in 2007. His Ph.D work at the University of South Florida focused on “The Electronic Structure of Biomolecular Self-Assembled Monolayers.” and he received his Ph.D in electrical engineering in 2012. He joined Dr. Xiaoxing Xi’s research group in the Physics department at Temple University as a Postdoctoral Fellow in 2012 where he studies superconducting thin films.
