Jianhang has complete his bachelor degree in Physics from University of Science and Technology of China (2015). In the Fall of 2015, he joined Dr. Xifan Wu’s group at the Physics Department, Temple University for graduate studies.

Research Interests

• Using density functional theory based molecular dynamics (AIMD) to study liquid water structure and dynamics, such as Infrared Spectroscopy (IR) and interface properties.

• With electron excitation theory, studying electronic structure of liquid water, i.e. X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS).

• Applying path integral in AIMD, research on the influences of quantum effects in liquid water system.
